Belfast Supercross Homecoming!

It's no secret that Northern Ireland has produced some great motorcycle racers on and off road. The rapidly approaching rounds of the British Supercross Championship coming up on October 22nd and 23rd inside the Belfast Odyssey Arena are set to showcase Northern Ireland's best.

Newtownard's native and British Supercross defending champ Gordon Crockard will lead the charge as the highest profile motocrosser of the region set to do battle in the indoor comfort of Northern Ireland's premier indoor venue. PAR Homes Honda ace Martin Barr who currently sits 3rd in points in the British Motocross Championship is another top level motocross rider from the region will be lining up to compete against Crockard and a power house line up of international stars.

Another high profile rider with a Belfast connection that has confirmed for the Belfast event is South African born Neville Bradshaw. Bradshaw's parents emigrated to Johannesburg before he was born. Prior to working for Suzuki South Africa Neville's Dad Ian had worked for his brother Morris at MB Motorcycles, the major Suzuki dealer in Northern Ireland at the time. Samsung Yamaha's Bradshaw has been competing in Britain for the last few years and was runner up in the British Supercross Championship just two years ago.
